Each sailing is designed for 12 passengers.

‘We’re excited to announce our new expedition line-up for next year offering even more departures to some of the most remote locations in the world,’ said Secret Atlas co-founder Michele D’Agostino.

‘Our passion lies in helping intrepid travellers explore these parts of the world through the opportunities created on an expedition micro cruise, with as little impact as possible and the flexibility and freedom to explore parts of the polar regions rarely visited by others.’

It was revealed yesterday that Secret Atlas Director Nikolai Kolesnikov is leading SunStone Ships’ newbuild Boundless Project.

Photography in Svalbard

Secret Atlas’ 2025 highlights includes a ‘Frozen Svalbard Photography Expedition’ – a nine-day trip led by world-class photographers and expedition leaders. Starting at £9,730 per person, passengers will be able to capture the wintry landscapes and wildlife of the Arctic including the chance to see polar bears, whales and walruses, as well as learn and develop new photography skills. Departures take place in April and May 2025.

Running August-October 2025 – coinciding with the best time for encountering the Scoresby Sund Northern Lights – are fly cruises to East Greenland. Passengers will sail up the largest fjord system in the world and have the chance to see the aurora borealis with zero light pollution on this 10-day expedition to one of the most remote locations in Greenland.

Prices start at £8,339 per person, excluding a mandatory return charter flight (from Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik, Iceland to Constable Point Airport in East Greenland) and hotel package which costs an additional £2,106 per person.
