Silversea Cruises opened general sales for the inaugural season of its new expedition ship Silver Endeavour, and showed off the seven suite categories.

This is the former Crystal Endeavor, which operated the 2021/22 Antarctica season before Crystal Cruises' shutdown under its prior owners in February this year.

Five to 20 days

Silver Endeavour will undertake 12 Antarctica voyages starting Nov. 21 through March. These range from five to 20 days and include Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise sailings, as well as an extended ‘Deep South’ expedition and a new 10-day Antarctic Peninsula voyage.

Silversea also unveiled the ship’s seven suite categories, which include some of the most spacious accommodations in expedition cruising.

'Among the most advanced expedition ships at sea, Silver Endeavour will enhance the expedition experience to all-new levels for our guests ...' said Conrad Combrink, SVP expeditions, destination and itinerary management, Silversea.

Combrink will accompany the maiden voyage as travelers fly over the Drake Passage to embark at King George Island and journey deep into Antarctica on what he called a 'milestone voyage.'

More than 20 expedition experts — including marine biologists, historians, naturalists, archaeologists and others — will share their knowledge on each voyage.

10 Antarctica Bridge sailings

Ten Antarctica Bridge fly-cruise sailings, including the maiden voyage, offer the fastest, most direct route to the White Continent, skipping the Drake Passage and flying directly to King George Island in European business-class comfort to embark the ship.

Travelers will journey deep into Antarctica on voyages of five to nine days, exploring destinations such as the Antarctic Peninsula, the Antarctic Sound and the South Shetland Islands.

'Deep South' expedition aims for 69th parallel

Departing round-trip from Chile's Puerto Williams on Feb. 12, Silver Endeavour will journey to the South Shetland Islands, the Antarctic Sound and the Antarctic Peninsula, before attempting to cross the 69th parallel south on Silversea’s first 20-day ‘Deep South’ expedition.

New 10-day Antarctic Peninsula voyage

Concluding the season is a new 10-day Antarctic Peninsula voyage, departing round-trip from Puerto Williams on March 4. The ship will spend six days exploring with the opportunity to take advantage of its remotely operated underwater vehicle and industry-leading expert- and Zodiac-to-guest ratios.

Silver Endeavour has a 1:1 crew to passenger ratio overall and super-spacious accommodations, starting at 356 square feet/33 square meters and going way up.
