The hull will be transferred to the yard’s dock hall where insulation work, electrical installations and hotel outfitting will commence. Engines, thrusters and other essential equipment were installed at CRIST shipyard in Poland, where the keel was laid.

Sister ship National Geographic Endurance was delivered in March by Ulstein Verft. It remains quayside.

Resolution is planned for delivery in 2021.

X-BOW

The X-BOW design allows for unobstructed views of wildlife, with forward and straight down-the-sides observation made possible. It was originally developed for offshore vessels operating in inhospitable waters to minimise wave impact and vibrations. This gives a smoother ride and reduces fuel consumption and emissions.

Interior

Resolution measures 124.4 mtr and has accommodation for 126 passengers, with 69 guest cabins and suites including 12 cabins for solo travellers.

It will offer a main restaurant and an outdoor barbecue and bistro area. Its spa and fitness area will include treatment rooms, saunas, a fitness room, a relaxation area and yoga room, and two infinity hot pools.
