UnCruise Adventures and Metropolitan Touring join Expedition Cruise Network

The new additions bring ECN’s membership to 18 and, according to Chairman Martin Johnson, ‘expands the offering to our travel trade members and cements our commitment to represent this exciting sector by showcasing the multiple and diverse operators that are part of this community.’ 

Uncruise Adventures, based in the US, offers small-ship cruises in Alaska, Mexico's Sea of Cortez, Pacific Northwest, Galapagos Islands, Central America, Hawaii and more.

Ecuadorian company Metropolitan Touring specialises in expedition cruises to the Galápagos Islands where it has been operating for over 60 years. 

Expedition webinar for trade 

Johnson will highlight the various expedition cruise destinations in a dedicated webinar on the subject that kicks off at 4 p.m. BST July 19. He will be accompanied by a panel of experts from among ECN’s expedition cruise members: Aaron Russ, commercial director and expedition leader at Heritage Expeditions, Trixi Lange-Hitzbleck, expedition leader at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, Frederic Guillemard, GM Europe and Asia at Australis Expeditions and Capt. Dan Blanchard, CEO and founder of UnCruise Adventures.
