Geographer’s debut
The 120-passenger Coral Geographer, currently under construction in Vietnam, will make her debut operating the company’s 25th Kimberley season which runs from early April to September 2021 between Darwin and Broome with sister ship Coral Adventurer and 72-passenger yacht-like Coral Discoverer.
The collection of voyages around Australia’s diverse coast will also include popular Tasmania itineraries, as well as emerging destinations like Cape York and Arnhem Land, the Torres Strait, Ningaloo and remote islands off Western Australia.
Tasmania circumnavigation
The ‘Coastal Wilds of Tasmania’ voyage will be extended to 10 nights to include further exploration time within the remote wilderness areas of Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour. There is also a 16-night full circumnavigation of Tasmania.
Lesser known destinations
The 11-night ‘Cape York and Arnhem Land’ sailings offer rare opportunities to visit remote communities and islands at the Top End of Australia and in 2021 there will be four new expedition sailings visiting lesser known places of the Torres Strait, the eastern coastline of Cape York and the Great Barrier Reef.
Australian Geographic Society
Coral Discoverer will make two 10-night ‘Ningaloo’s Blue Water Wonders’ cruises from Broome to Ningaloo, the Montebello Islands and the Rowley Shoals in partnership with the Australian Geographic Society.
Pioneering spirit
‘We began pioneering the Australian coastline 35 years ago, so our knowledge and passion for this country is vast,’ Commercial Director Jeff Gilles said.
‘Australian expeditions are in our DNA and we are proud to be introducing new experiences in 2021.’
