Five Cruise & Maritime Voyages ships up for sale by tender

The ships are currently laid up in the UK – four in Tilbury and Marco Polo in Avonmouth, Bristol. They can be inspected by arrangement.

Each vessel is to be sold by separate sealed tender, ‘as is where is’ at the time of sale, on behalf of the Admiralty Marshal by exclusive broker CW Kellock & Co Ltd.

Offers have to be submitted in sealed envelopes marked with vessel’s name, or by emailing CW Kellock & Co by midday on the dates indicated below:

1993 built and 630 cabin Vasco da Gama bid deadline October 8. 

1989 built, 736 cabin Columbus bid deadline October 12.

1987 built, 295 cabin Astor bid deadline October 15.

1985 built, 726 cabin Magellan bid deadline October 19.

1965 built, 425 cabin Marco Polo bid deadline October 22.

Last month, the administrators of insolvent Cruise & Maritime Voyages confirmed the sale of UK commercial assets to CVI Group Limited (CVI), a company owned by Christian Verhounig, former chief executive of CMV.
