Grandeur of the Seas will transfer to Pullmantur in 2021

The 975 cabin Grandeur of the Seas, currently part of the Royal Caribbean International fleet, will join Pullmantur Cruises in April 2021, increasing its summer capacity by 30% versus 2020.

According to Pullmantur president & CEO, Richard J. Vogel, the arrival of Grandeur of the Seas is ‘magnificent news for the cruise market in Spain and Latin America, as it backs up the incessant work we are carrying out to further improve our product, with a firm commitment to offering a differentiated, unique proposal on the market, based on the Spanish and Latin lifestyle and firmly anchored in innovation.’

Pullmantur earlier announced Zenith will leave the fleet in 2020 as it is headed for Japan's Peace Boat.

The new addition, ‘will mark the start of a new cycle in the history of Pullmantur Cruises, one that will be characterized by growth,’ added Vogel.

Refurbishment

Grandeur of the Seas, equipped with the Advanced Emissions Purification Systems (AEP), will undergo a refurbishment before sailing with Pullmantur in North European waters in her first season (summer 2021), with sales starting early next year.
