The investors also formed Cruise Management International, which has assumed the technical management of FleetPro Ocean's 10 ships. Lania Rittenhouse, who was president of FleetPro Ocean, left the company.

Dietmar Wertanzl was appointed president of CMI Leisure and Kenneth Engström president of Cruise Management International. Both companies will continue operating from the former FleetPro offices in Miami.

'I'm pleased we got all this done,' Lund told Seatrade Cruise News. He said the transition has been 'seamless,' adding that all the crew on the ships are being kept. The last ship's transition was completed yesterday.

Lund called Wertanzl and Engstöm 'both extremely experienced executives.' They have worked with him for years. In addition, a number of the former FleetPro Ocean vice presidents are continuing with CMI.

Cruise Management International assumed technical management for Freewinds, Grand Celebration, Oasia, Ocean Atlantic, Ocean Diamond, Ocean Endeavour, Ocean Nova, Quest (to be renamed Sea Endurance), Sea Adventurer and Sea Spirit.

Silver Discoverer and Silver Explorer went back to V.Ships.

CMI Leisure, meanwhile, is managing the hotel operations for seven vessels—Ocean Endeavour, Ocean Diamond, Sea Adventurer, Sea Spirit, Quest/Sea Endurance, Saint Laurent and Ocean Nova.

'I'm excited to be back in this new organization. It's a new brand and a new beginning,' Wertanzl said.
