Silversea to pay commission on cruises canceled since March and on FCCs

Silversea is paying commission on canceled voyages for all passengers who have paid in full, regardless of whether they choose cash refunds or a future cruise credit, retroactive to the company's first cancellations in March. CEO Roberto Martinoli announced the change in a video message to travel advisors. Commissions are protected on canceled cruises and those booked with an FCC.

Club Med 2 back in France

Concluding a trans-Atlantic crossing started on April 23 from Fort-de-France, Martinique, Club Med 2 arrived end of last week in Toulon and has been laid up since in La Seyne-sur-Mer. The ship, which had suspended cruises at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, is carrying a reduced crew to take care of maintenance.

According to the Club PR service, the ship will remain at La Seyne-sur-Mer for the time being. The resumption of service will depend on French authorities' decisions about the course of the pandemic.
