The availability of pricing in euros for the Irish market is accompanied by a roll-out plan that – in line with the four core pillars of the Partners First philosophy – focuses on education of the travel partners, and many Irish partners are already taking part in training sessions through webinars or face-to-face workshops.

Christian Boell, managing director EMEA, Norwegian Cruise Line, said: 'We are proud to be providing our valued partners with euro pricing. We have listened to direct feedback to enhance our business model. Partners First is all about continuously strengthening our relationship with the travel trade and ensuring that we are easy to do business with.'

The Irish travel trade will see numerous benefits from the introduction of euro pricing, including group options, and it will simplify agents' business dealings with Norwegian since they can book clients without the need for currency conversion.

'We have ambitious growth plans for Norwegian in Europe and as a result have taken a Europe-centric approach to achieving our goals. Developing and growing our business in Ireland is a key aspect of this and we recognised that we had to make some changes in order to better equip our partners,' added Boell.

On bookings to July 31 for cruises of at least five nights on ships departing after September 1, travelers in studios and inside staterooms can choose one free offer from among a Speciaty Dining package, premium drinks package, 250 minutes of W-Fi or on-board credit. Those in an ocean-view, balcony or mini-suite stateroom can choose two free extras, while those booking The Haven by Norwegian or suites can get all four offers.

Pride of America and Norwegian Sky sailings are exempt of this offer.
