P&O Australia releases 2016-17 programme for five-ship fleet
P&O Cruises Australia has released a programme that runs between October 2016 and July 2017 for its entire fleet that will grow to five ships in November this year with the addition of Pacific Aria (formerly Holland America Line’s Ryndam) and Pacific Eden (formerly Statendam).
Svp Sture Myrmell said the expanded fleet has given the company a ‘plethora’ of new itinerary options.
‘With the biggest home-ported fleet, we can offer the largest range of itineraries and destinations in the region,’ Myrmell said.
There are 191 departures and 38 itineraries in the just-released programme that goes on sale April 22.
Pacific Eden will join Pacific Dawn for year-round cruising from Brisbane and Pacific Aria will operate a season of short breaks from Adelaide, including three-night weekend getaways and four-night cruises to Port Lincoln or Melbourne.
Pacific Aria will operate a 15-night Papua New Guinea cruise from Sydney and Pacific Eden will sail to Papua New Guinea from Brisbane on a 10-night Christmas cruise.
There will be a bumper Melbourne season, including Pacific Jewel’s 13-night Christmas cruise from Melbourne to the South Pacific.
There are four music-themed SeaBreaks from Sydney, including a three-night Blues cruise and during Pacific Pearl’s Auckland season she will make a SeaBreak to Napier for the renowned annual Art Deco weekend.
