Royal Caribbean Group launches private offering of $1.5b notes

Royal Caribbean Group continues its post-pandemc refinancing by commencing a private offering of $1.5b senior unsecured notes due 2033.

The company intends to use the proceeds, together with borrowings under its revolving credit facilities, to redeem all of its outstanding 9.25% senior notes due 2029 and a portion of its outstanding 8.25% senior secured notes due 2029.

The notes are being offered only to qualified institutional buyers outside the US.
