The company expects a record number of families and family groups to sail in Pacific Adventure, currently Princess Cruises’ Golden Princess, with the biggest ever choice of school holiday itineraries and cabin configurations.

Star attractions for families will be Adventure’s dual-racing waterslide — the Twin Racer — and the P&O Edge Adventure Park with a flying fox on the top deck and a rock-climbing wall with panoramic views.

Family cabins

Pacific Adventure has the greatest choice of accommodation in P&O’s history with new five berth family cabins and a record number of interconnecting rooms.

It also will be first in the market to offer two-bedroom family suites that sleep up to eight.

New Brisbane terminal

The 3,000-passenger Pacific Encounter, currently Princess Cruises’ Star Princess, departs Singapore on November 11, 2021, calling at Kuala Lumpur (Port Kelang), Lombok, Darwin, Cairns and Airlie Beach before sailing into the new Brisbane International Cruise Terminal.

She will be based in Brisbane, offering 11 cruises to South Pacific islands and Queensland coastal destinations, until January 2022.

Papua New Guinea

Pacific Explorer, formerly Princess Cruises’ Dawn Princess, will be based in Cairns for a summer season of four cruises in 2021, including a 10-night itinerary to the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.
