Carnival closes offering of $2bn 6% unsecured notes

Net proceeds will be used to make scheduled principal payments on debt during fiscal 2022 and for general corporate purposes.

Guaranteed on an unsecured basis

The notes are guaranteed on an unsecured basis by Carnival plc and certain of the company's and Carnival plc's subsidiaries that guarantee substantially all of the corporation's debt.

The notes were offered only to qualified institutional buyers outside the US.
