AMADEUS Taste excursions are interactive and include tastings of local wine and delicacies
Amadeus River Cruises launched its 2025 programme, featuring two new excursion categories: AMADEUS Active and AMADEUS Taste.

Next year’s programme encompasses 19 itineraries in 13 countries, served by 10 vessels. Now available to book, the sailings range from five to 16 days and include the new excursion categories.

AMADEUS Taste

AMADEUS Taste excursions include wineries, markets and more. In Austria, passengers can visit Winzer Krems winery or in Germany, participate in a tasting of typical Moselle wines or do wine tasting on a trip to Rüdesheim and Drosselgasse.

In France, passengers have the chance to visit indoor food market Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse or Grignan for a truffle farm and tasting experience.

They can also try Dutch specialties in Veere, experience an authentic taste of Budapest or visit the Carpathian wine region with a trip to a vineyard in Raca.

These excursions are complemented by a selection of local wines served on board the ship.

AMADEUS Active

AMADEUS Active excursions cater to travellers of various energy and fitness levels. A cycle tour in Vienna along the Danube Cycle Path, hiking to Pöstlingberg hill in Linz, Austria, and a visit to Landshut castle ruins and vineyards in Bernkastel, Germany are among the options.

In addition to these new excursions, active passengers have access to yoga in the morning on the sun deck, free bike rental and a fitness room.

2025 programme

The 2025 programme features cruises on the waterways of Belgium and Holland, the Rhine-Main canal, the Rhône, Saône and Seine, and landscapes adjoining the Danube all the way to the Black Sea.

Prices start from £626 per person.

Wave deal

To mark the launch of the 2025 programme, Amadeus is offering a 15% early booking discount on all next year’s itineraries booked before November 30, 2024.
