Designed to provide immersive experiences in each destination through an array of wine-related activities, the seven-night spring, summer and fall 2015 sailings focus on Europe’s most renowned wine regions. Tastings and expert lecturers are part of the program.

Cruise-only pricing starts at $2,599 per person.

Among the 2015 choices are 'Paris & Normandy,' a voyage on the Seine through the heart of Normandy with an optional two-night land extension in Paris. 'Provence & Spain' pairs a cruise through Provence with optional three-night land extensions in Barcelona and/or Paris.

'Enticing Douro' sails through Portugal's Douro River Valley with an optional three-night land program in Lisbon.

'The Romantic Danube,' from Vilshofen, Germany, to Budapest, offers a three-night land extension in Prague, while 'Melodies of the Danube,' from Budapest to Vilshofen, offers a three-night land program in Munich or Prague.

'The Enchanting Rhine,' between Amsterdam and Basel, has an optional four-night land stay in Zurich and Lucerne.

Also featured in the brochure are AmaWaterways’ new seven-night Bordeaux voyages. Scheduled to debut on the Garonne and Dordogne rivers in 2016, the 'Taste of Bordeaux' itinerary focuses on this famous region in France.

In addition to AmaWaterways’ traditional shore excursions, the new wine cruises have distinctive tours revealing the culture and wine-making traditions of each region. These include visits to vineyards and historic wine cellars, and wine-making seminars. The cruise hosts will bring a variety of hand-selected vintages on board and offer food pairing recommendations while leading discussions and tastings.
