British Virgin Islands vendor scores sweet success with Windstar Cruises

Clarke recently became a vendor to the cruise line, delivering her signature coconut fudge when Wind Surf calls at the British Virgin Islands. The sweet treat will be added to the turndown service when the ship departs the BVI.

'This opportunity arose from the BVI Ports Authority taking JD’s Candies’ peppermint candies to Seatrade Cruise Global 2023 as a treat for people visiting their booth.

'I never expected a cruise line representative to be interested, but that just goes to show that you never know whose hands your product might reach,' she continued. 'Following up on potential opportunities is also very important, that is the real work, and this opportunity wouldn’t have been realised without efficient follow-up.'
