HAL package bundles in excursions, drinks, specialty dining, Wi-Fi
Holland America Line's new 'Have It All' premium package includes shore excursions, beverages, specialty dining and Wi-Fi in one base cruise fare.
April 15, 2021
Available year-round on all itineraries six days or longer except grand voyages, the package is valued at $99 per person, per day, for a seven-day cruise, and 'Have it All' fares represent a savings of 50% or more compared to purchasing the components individually.
Extensive research with experienced cruisers and travel partners to understand what they find most valuable when purchasing a cruise 'overwhelmingly pointed toward one simple fare that included our top amenities,' HAL President Gus Antorcha said.
'Our past promotions that offered these perks have been extremely popular, so we created a premium package that is available all the time and on nearly all our cruises,' he added.
Different from Celebrity's 'Always Included'
Another premium cruise line, Celebrity, moved to 'Always Included' fares in late 2020 but the concept is different. Celebrity bundles Wi-Fi, drinks and tips into its standard rate, with two upgrade options available.
Extras by cruise length
HAL's 'Have It All' inclusives depend on the length of cruise booked.
For cruises of six to nine days, the package has one shore excursion up to $100 value or $100 off any one tour for all travelers in a stateroom, a Signature Beverage Package for all travelers in a stateroom (up to 15 drinks per day, service charges included), one night of specialty dining for all travelers in a stateroom and a Wi-Fi package for the first and second travelers.
Cruises of 10 to 20 days include all the extras for shorter sailings plus an additional $100 shore excursion or tour credit ($200 per guest total) and two nights of specialty dining.
Cruises of 21 or more days, excluding grand voyages, include all the extras of shorter sailings plus an additional $100 shore excursion or tour credit ($300 per guest total) and three nights of specialty dining.
Every traveler in a stateroom must book the fare
'Have it All' fares will be available for booking April 21. The fare will be presented as an option with the included perks already factored into the price across all stateroom and suite categories.
Every passenger in a stateroom must book the 'Have it All' fare to receive the extras.
Travelers who don't want the extras have the option of a standard fare.
