Ken Taylor, SVP at MarkeTeam – one of the industry’s leading beverage marketing and F&B consultancy agencies – was appointed F&B Ambassador for Seatrade Cruise, joining Rick Welch.

As a Seatrade Cruise brand ambassador for F&B, his responsibilities include providing expert knowledge in the field of cruise food and beverage, highlighting the critical issues facing this industry today, and helping Seatrade Cruise coordinate an event programme geared around exploring practical solutions to meet new F&B challenges.

Taylor works closely with corporate hotel groups, as well as casino, cruise line, restaurant and other destination hospitality clients on F&B development projects, beverage marketing programs and identifying critical opportunities that leverage MarkeTeam’s nearly 35 years in business.

A former senior leader with Royal Caribbean Group, heading up F&B operations for Royal Caribbean, Taylor oversaw a fleet of 22 cruise ships, over 20,000 employees and a billion dollar F&B operation. 

Prior to Royal Caribbean, Taylor led food and beverage at a number of 5-star hotels and resorts with Four Seasons Hotels, spanning a 15 year hotel career. 

Awards

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Taylor has overseen countless high-profile F&B operations across the US. 

He is the recipient of IFMA’s Silver Plate Award, NRAEF Spirit Award, IVY Award of Distinction, a certified F&B executive and is member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants. 

Ken also sits on the marketing board for various whole food product commissions.

F&B@Sea 

An industry speaker, Taylor co-presented the first F&B@Sea Awards in Miami last year.  

On accepting the F&B Ambassador position, he said, ‘I am looking forward to working closely with the Seatrade team in continuing to support the amazing growth of F&B@Sea.'

F&B@Sea, held in tandem with Seatrade Cruise Global and dedicated to cruise F&B, is the first event of its kind, consisting of a conference programme, demos and activations, happy hours, panel discussions and more.

This year’s F&B@Sea takes place from April 9-10 at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center in Miami. 

The next Seatrade Cruise Global runs from April 7-10 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
