Sun Princess relocates some restaurants before US debut

Princess Cruises continues to change up its new Sun Princess, with some restaurants relocating and a few venues renamed before the ship's US introduction.

New Sanctuary Restaurant

The new Sanctuary Restaurant for Sanctuary Collection guests will be found on Deck 8 aft (prior location of the Americana Diner). This venue offers a custom chef’s menu and big ocean views.

Besides this exclusive dining spot, The Sanctuary Collection, debuting Oct. 14, offers access to the ship’s top-deck retreat area, a luxurious stateroom experience in all 80 suites, 123 designated mini-suites and 12 premium deluxe balcony rooms, as well as the Princess Premier bundle of amenities. 

Other moves

The Catch by Rudi, Rudi Sodamin's seafood spot, is moving to Deck 7, adjacent to the Piazza (former location of the Signature Restaurant).

Butcher’s Block by Dario, serving meats in partnership with Dario Cecchini, is moving to Deck 7 forward (former Crown Grill location).

Crown Grill, a signature Princess specialty restaurant serving beef, chops and seafood, will be found on Deck 7 aft (former location of the Reserve Collection Restaurant).

The Americana Diner, a casual spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner, will be located on Deck 9 aft.

New names

Horizons Dining Room (Deck 6 aft) has been renamed the Soleil Dining Room, while Horizons Dining Room (Deck 7 aft) is now called Eclipse Dining Room.

Park19 was renamed SkyDeck Sports Court & Track.

Port Everglades winter home

Sun Princess is scheduled to arrive at its winter home for Caribbean cruises Oct. 10, with a trade sailing before the Oct. 14 revenue cruise.
