No area of the ship was untouched, said Larry Pimentel, president and ceo of Azamara Club Cruises. While the line is known for destination immersion, Azamara 'needed to take our on-board product to the next level,' he added. Pimentel deemed the new look 'gorgeous' and said the ship provides all the modern services and amenities today's travelers demand.

Adjacent to the Sanctum Spa, two new Spa Suites were built featuring an elegant look with organic and muted colors. The accommodations come with spa amenities included in the price. The Club World Ocean and Owner’s Suites were fully redesigned.

The Patio becomes a sit-down dinner spot after its transformation with new lighting, ceilings and fans, and a new evening menu. Tablecloths and candles add atmosphere. From time to time a movie or live music will accompany the meal. The new Swirl & Top self-serve frozen yogurt station provides a variety of flavors and toppings.

Windows Café was reinvigorated with contemporary furniture and place settings. Tables for were added, allowing more options for couples and the ability to combine tables to accommodate larger parties. Windows’ outdoor dining area and Sunset Bar got a rejuvenated look.

Discoveries Restaurant was refreshed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with new décor, lamps, seating and sheers. A variety of table sizes are offered. The Discoveries Bar makeover involved new bar stools, sofas, chairs and tables, sheers, painting and wood trim.

The former Looking Glass Lounge is now called the Living Room and offers cozy chairs and sofas and a handcrafted wooden wine table. Passengers can sample tastes and entertainment from morning until night. During the day, the Living Room offers a selection of fine teas and coffees along with breakfast pastries, finger sandwiches and sweets. Hot and cold tapas are served from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Living Room has a new card-playing area. And in the evenings, dancing, karaoke or live music are offered, followed by a DJ. Some nights will bring special performances, or desserts from the chef.

The Cabaret Lounge, Casino and Spirits, a bar, were revitalized with new carpeting, updated lighting and a refinished dance floor. They gained new slot machines, sleek carpets and reupholstered seating with custom-designed fabrics.
