Seabourn introduced a bevy of features and enhanced services across eight areas, from housekeeping and culinary to entertainment and embarkation.

Gerald Mosslinger, SVP guest operations, said these sprang from Seabourn's continuous drive to 'provide the best luxury hospitality experience to our guests,' adding: 'Over the past 18 months, we examined our on-board amenities and services, from culinary to entertainment to technology, and guests will find even more ways where we’re creating memorable Seabourn Moments.'

Enhanced F&B

Enhanced food and beverage offerings include more than 300 new recipes, along with new culinary offerings in several venues. Passengers can start the day with breakfast at The Patio, an al fresco option poolside featuring a daily menu of items and lighter fare, including vegan, vegetarian and plant-based options, freshly made juices and classic breakfast dishes.

For pre-dinner cocktails, The Club now features a revamped cocktail hour offering a creative new menu of small bites that changes daily, live music and enhanced playlists, with the fun extending to the outdoor deck space immediately outside.

Entertainment

Four new and enhanced entertainment experiences include a new production show on Seabourn Ovation, 'Latin Quarter,' showcasing the dances and music of Latin America, and 'Serenade,' a classical concert on deck during sail-away events.

Seabourn Source mobile app

A new mobile app, Seabourn Source, available for Apple iPhones and Android devices, gives the ability to view the day’s events, order a specialty coffee in Seabourn Square and make reservations in dining outlets including The Grill by Thomas Keller. The app also lets passengers retrieve digital boarding passes to expedite embarkation and prepare required health assessments for each member of their party prior to boarding.

The 'Uncorkd' feature accesses lists of hundreds of wines and facilitates learning about varietals during on-board wine lectures.

Free and improved Wi-Fi

New, included complimentary Wi-Fi has been facilitated by tripling the bandwidth for passengers, giving them unlimited minutes for all bookings on every ship. Under this new system, two tiers of WiFi packages are available. The included service allows unlimited browsing, email and social media access. Travelers needing additional bandwidth for more devices, video streaming or cloud storage services can upgrade their package at a nominal service charge.

Housekeeping teams

A two-person team — one suite host and one suite attendant — replace the former single stewardess position.

Streamlined embarkation

Seabourn also simplified and automated the check-in process with 'mBark,' enabling passengers to go from curbside to the ship faster. In addition to a mobile boarding pass, they are now provided with a specific embarkation time. The electronic boarding pass is scanned when they arrive at the terminal and, once on board, they will be escorted straight to their suites, which will already be prepared.

E-mustering/health safety

The embarkation safety briefing converted to an e-mustering process where travelers can watch the mandatory safety video on their in-suite television, then visit their designated muster station any time between boarding and 30 minutes before the ship departs.

Current health safety protocols include pre-cruise COVID-19 testing, verification of vaccination status, on-board screening, enhanced levels of cleaning and other measures.
