$1k & free cruise up for grabs as Princess brings ‘Deal or No Deal’ game show aboard

Starting with Sky Princess, Princess Cruises will introduce the television game show ‘Deal or No Deal’ onboard its ships offering contestants the chance to win prizes ranging from a free cruise to $1,000.

Deal or No Deal will be available onboard Discovery Princess – Princess’ newest ship debuting from Los Angeles on March 27 – as well as Regal Princess and Majestic Princess, with plans to roll it out fleet-wide in the future.

‘Deal or No Deal offers a unique combination of entertainment and gamification that allows our guests to spectate or participate in an extremely high-quality and realistic live experience of the popular TV game show,’ explained Denise Saviss, VP entertainment experience, Princess Cruises. 

The game 

Launched in partnership with entertainment company TimePlay,  passengers will be able to play along with their ‘case card’ with a buy-in ranging from $25-$50. Two contestants, selected at random, will play live on stage in the Princess Theatre for a chance to win up to $1,000. 

Those in the audience who have purchased a game card also work towards achieving eight matches to win up to $1,000 or a free cruise.

The 3,660-passenger Sky Princess, one of the line’s UK homeport ships for 2022 and 2023, will sail 24 voyages roundtrip from Southampton between March and October, 2022.
