The 12-day adventure traverses picturesque Lemaire Channel, past towering icebergs, to reach penguin-filled islands and historic whaling stations. Le Boréal is also scheduled to visit the black sand beach in Paradise Bay, a sunken volcanic caldera.

This departure includes the opportunity to deliver research equipment to US Palmer Station with professor James McClintock, author of 'Lost Antarctica,' who has been conducting polar research for more than 25 years.
