The enhancements will be piloted on Carnival Dream beginning June 17, with a fleetwide rollout by this fall.

In consultation with Emeril Legasse

In consultation with Chief Culinary Officer Emeril Lagasse, Carnival's culinary team has been evaluating the main dining room selection and planning new options.

During Carnival Venezia's naming in New York this week, Carnival President Christine Duffy mentioned the association with Legasse goes beyond a licensing agreement (his Emeril's Bistro is aboard Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration and will be on the new Carnival Jubilee arriving later this year). She said the chef recently had tasted scores of dishes to give his feedback.

Specialty restaurant samplers, bigger portions, more veggie options

The new main dining room menus will also include offerings from Carnival's specialty restaurants, so more diners can experience the variety of food offered across the fleet.

As well, Carnival chefs are planning larger portions of certain entrees, along with additional vegetarian choices and entrée salads.
