Sanremo Music Festival a highlight of Costa’s new music-themed cruiseSanremo Music Festival a highlight of Costa’s new music-themed cruise
The cruise line will once again offer its passengers the chance to experience the Sanremo Music Festival during a music-themed Mediterranean cruise.

Bookings opened for Costa Toscana’s nine-day Music Cruise 2025, where passengers will have the chance to experience Sanremo Music Festival – the most popular Italian song contest and awards ceremony.
It is not the first time a Costa Cruises ship has sailed to the city to coincide with the festival.
This year’s partnership with the event will culminate in a special performance on board the ship on the final day of the cruise.
A celebration of music festivals
Each day of the cruise will be dedicated to a different music festival, celebrating various genres and styles through live performances, interactive activities, workshops, sparkling aperitifs and parties with international guests.
Two new shows are confirmed for this year: Radio Deejay's ‘Deejay Time’ for the opening night and the return of Gigi D'Agostino with an exclusive Valentine's Day party.
Italy
As the ship sails towards Sanremo from Savona on February 8, a Warm-up Sound Party will commence featuring indie rock and alternative pop.
The arrival in the Bay of Sanremo, on the morning of February 9, will give passengers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the city, explore picturesque villages of the Riviera and the old town centre.
The music extravaganza will officially kick off on passengers’ return to the ship, starting with the ‘Waves of Music’ Sea Destinations experience. Specially conceived for the cruise and brought to life in collaboration with the municipality of Sanremo, a fireworks display to music will light up the bay as well as an evocative dancing light show on the sea.
The evening will also see Albertino, Fargetta, Molella and Prezioso – the ‘Fab 4’ of Radio Deejay – bring their ‘Deejay Time’ show on board in the Colosseo.
Spain
On leaving Sanremo on February 10, Costa Toscana will set sail for Barcelona, giving passengers a day of sailing under the banner of punk and rock with workshops and performances leading up to the Underground Fest.
Passengers will arrive on February 11 where they will be able to explore the city, the works of Gaudí and the lively atmosphere of the local neighbourhoods.
Back on board, the experience will continue with the Sea Destinations ‘Sea of Stars’ experience, where the starry sky will be transformed into a natural spectacle while the ship is in the Balearic Sea.
The evening will end with a boho-spirited event that mixes pop and hip-hop music with an artistic and urban atmosphere.
France
Costa Toscana arrives in Marseille on February 12, where passengers will discover Notre-Dame de la Garde and the ‘Le Panier’ district. A celebration of electronic music takes place on board the ship in the evening, adhering to a futuristic theme of light and sound.
Special performance
The ship arrives in Civitavecchia on February 13 for passengers to discover Rome, before they head back to the vessel for pop and folk music to celebrate the charm of the Mediterranean.
Starting at 11pm that evening will be another Sea Destinations experience – ‘Cetacean Sanctuary’ – where a light show will project passengers into the world of extraordinary sea creatures.
This will be followed by an evening dedicated to the summer of ‘69, with psychedelic sounds, jam sessions and a vibrant, hippy atmosphere that will accompany the last days on the Riviera dei Fiori.
For Valentine’s Day on February 14, Costa Toscana will be back in Sanremo for an exclusive live dance show from Gigi D'Agostino. Plus, a special performance on board the ship takes place on February 15 in collaboration with Sanremo Music Festival.
To mark the voyage drawing to a close, the evening of February 15 will see a glamorous, all-Italian celebration take place.
