More MSC America bars, lounges tailored for US tastes
From more bourbon to microbrews, MSC Cruises is tailoring MSC World America for the US market, including a previously announced sports bar and comedy club.

'In a first for MSC Cruises, we will be debuting two brand-new lounge concepts — All-Stars Sports Bar, offering an authentic game-day atmosphere with all-American fare and bar games, and The Loft, a multipurpose venue for comedy, karaoke and more,' said Bernhard Stacher, SVP shipboard hospitality operations.
'Across the ship, we’ve also enhanced the drink menus with upscale cocktails, more bourbons, American-style beers and gin from craft American distilleries to elevate the experience and make sure guests find something perfect for every occasion.'
All-Star Sports Bar
All-Stars Sports Bar, set in MSC World America’s Promenade district, will have a large ocean-facing terrace, serve classic American snacks not available elsewhere on the ship and televise popular sports. Games include interactive darts, digital shuffleboard and foosball.
The Loft, in the Terraces district, is a multipurpose, adults-only venue for comedy shows, dueling pianos and karaoke nights, with entertainment running well past midnight.
Sweet Temptations will serve hand-crafted crazy-shakes, Venchi chocolate pick ‘n’ mix and gelato. A self-serve frozen yogurt bar, make-your-own ice cream bars, and crepes, waffles and doughnuts are other offerings.
More bourbon
Further MSC World America lounges include Elixir, a mixology bar with cocktails crafted from Fever Tree mixers and fresh ingredients. Introduced aboard MSC World Europa, Elixir comes to the American market with a new focus on bourbon and bourbon-based cocktails, alongside other spirits.
British-style pub with American-style beers
Masters of the Seas is a British-style pub with live music at the heart of MSC World America’s Terraces district. It will house MSC Cruises’ second full-scale microbrewery and serve a newly developed range of signature beers from brew master Teo Musso of Baladin Brewery.
These include an American-style lite beer, IPA and pilsner made from desalinated sea water. The new beers are made specially for the American audience and will use American hops. Plus, passengers can order beer from South Florida’s La Tropicale brewery.
Another bar, the Gin Project, features 20 craft gins with a focus on American and Canadian craft gin distilleries.
And when it comes to java, Coffee Emporium is promised to be a sleek and modern coffee house featuring French, Italian, Turkish and Moroccan beans.
