The 700 square meters/7,535 square feet of dedicated space will feature a fresh, futuristic design.

Listening to young cruisers

Steve Leatham, global head of entertainment, said MSC Cruises has invested heavily to engage its youngest guests and knows 'they value the latest technology, trends and happenings more than any other group.'

'With MSC Seascape, we want to surprise and leave Generation Z speechless,' added MSC's Matteo Mancini, kids entertainment manager. 'We've listened to the 350,000 young people who have traveled with us over the years and followed their trends and requests. We will offer even more space and new experiences for teen-agers, have exclusive game shows for this age group and the first “edutainment” game show dedicated to history, bringing in the concepts of new technology and social media.'

Two LEGO rooms

Kids' spaces aboard MSC Seascape include two LEGO rooms, one offering LEGO DUPLO for ages 3 to 6, and the other wth LEGO bricks and the opportunity to earn a certificate for becoming a LEGO Master Builder, for juniors ages 7  to 11.

Three teen spaces

Youngsters 12 to 17 will have three new concept spaces with varying themes.

One centers around 'Future' and features a technology area with the latest generation consoles, VR and screens (including PlayStation5, Xbox X Series, Nintendo Switch). The 'Chill Out' area provides a place to talk, engage in social media and challenge each other to ping-pong, foosball and billiards. The 'Music' space serves as a disco with light and sound effects.

Interactive game shows

Family entertainment will include live interactive games incorporating the latest technology.

New game shows on MSC Seascape include 'Break The Wall,' a high-tech offering where a giant technology wall determines which surprise tests must be performed on stage in front of a jury composed of the audience.

For the first time on an MSC Cruises ship, families can take part in an 'edutaining' game that teaches about the Vikings via a fun challenge.

Inspired by the MSC original 'Cabin 12006' web series, 'Cabin 12006 - The Secret Game' is an immersive experience combining music, videos, Tik Tok trials, memory games and more as participants try their hand at solving mysteries.

During the 'Beat the Music' interactive and digital game show suitable for all ages, families play using a dedicated app where parents are challenged to know the latest music hits their kids are listening to and kids have to guess the classics their parents love. The game includes eliminations and prizes.

And more

Other activities and entertainment aboard MSC Seascape include 'Doremiland, The Documentary,' where all cabins with children and teens will receive a behind-the-scenes broadcast about the services and activities awaiting them during the cruise.

The 'MSC Dance Crew' competition — developed with Fremantle, the production company behind TV talent shows including 'Idols,' 'The X Factor' and 'Got Talent' series — pits teams of 10- to 17-year-olds in a battle to win the title of dance crew of the year.

Each week, teens will form the cast of a 'Late Show' live from the teen club that focuses on trends, music charts, guest stars, the most loved TV series, games and prizes.

And through MSC Foundation Junior Ambassadors, youngsters can learn about marine conservation.
