A heated culinary competition pits three Norwegian Cruise Line chefs to have their dish featured on the new Norwegian Prima.

'The Great Cruise Cookoff' is the latest 'Embark with NCL' episode, first airing at 8 p.m. EDT Sept 15 on www.ncl.com/embark and Facebook will subsequently be available on demand.

Culinary showdown

Hosted by Norwegian Prima Cruise Director Simon Akinwolere and NCL’s Senior Director of Culinary Development and Operations Christian Pratsch, the cookoff will give viewers a front-row-seat to this high-stakes culinary showdown.

60 minutes to prepare dishes

Corporate Executive Chef Didier Lailheugue, Corporate Executive Chef Michael Koertgen and Director of Culinary Operations Eric Bilodeau are given 60 minutes to prepare three dishes using three distinct ingredients. Once the time is up, the chefs will present their plates to be judged by NCL leadership.

Only one winner will be proclaimed, earning them bragging rights and the honor of having their dish savored by thousands of NCL passengers from around the world aboard.
