Chef and marine gastronomy expert Pierre-Marie Leprince is to act as a specialist advisor to Welbilt in his role as the company’s brand ambassador.

Leprince will recommend on the needs of the marine sector, collaborate on specific projects aimed at ferry and cruise operators, and provide guidance on menu development.

Pierre-Marie is one of only four cruise line affiliated chefs to be admitted to the Maitres Cuisiniers de France (Master Chefs of France) and spent eight years at Princess Cruises in the role of fleet director, guest culinary experience. He said, ‘Marine catering is a specialist area and one which Welbilt products already have a lot to offer.

‘Welbilt equipment has been by my side throughout my career and therefore I am delighted to be working closer with them to build on their offering to cruise operators throughout the world.’

Welbilt  VP Sales & Marketing Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia Jean-Paul Roudier added, ’We have worked with Chef Pierre-Marie at numerous points throughout his career and specifically during his time at Princess Cruises.’
