Queen Elizabeth's new solo rooms open for booking

Cunard Line opened sales for the nine new single-occupancy staterooms on board Queen Elizabeth, effective from the Dec. 16 sailing.

Eight of the accommodations are ocean-view, with large windows, and one is an inside. Each ranges from 159 square feet to 162 square feet.

Room features include a Deck 2 midship location close to the social areas of the Empire Casino, the Royal Court Theater and the Queens Room and a single bed more than 47 inches wide.

Dining is in the Britannia Restaurant.
