‘Morocco and Tunisia: a journey of the senses’ is the second cruise in 2023 featuring exclusive experiences dedicated to C|Club members. Some excursions have been especially included for the sailing, including steam baths in Cadiz, a view of Casablanca from the world's highest minaret, an authentic culinary experience in Tunis and design and architecture in Rabat and Fez.

Six-star Michelin chef Hélène Darroze and South African singer Talia Alexis will also appear as special guests during the sailing.

Tony Hadley

UK pop singer Hadley, who rose to fame in the 1980s as the lead singer of Spandau Ballet, will perform the most famous hits of his career and his new material for C|Club members. Photograph and autograph opportunities will be available.

Hélène Darroze

Darroze will be on board to propose some never-before-tried destination dishes that will convey, through taste, the destinations visited. C|Club members will be able to participate in a cooking experience with the chef, creating typical Moroccan and Tunisian dishes through easy recipes using local ingredients.

Riccardo Bellaera, Costa's corporate pastry & bakery chef and close associate of renowned pastry chef Iginio Massari, will create dishes to celebrate destinations on the itinerary, and deliver entertaining cooking and pastry shows on board.

Singer Alexis will perform an international music show and a tribute to Tina Turner, while also engaging C|Club members in a singing challenge.

Costa’s 75th anniversary celebration

In addition to a welcome party and art activities with lessons in traditional local painting and decorating, crew will entertain passengers with a birthday party dedicated to Costa. The entertainment programme includes themed parties: ‘Desert Night,’ a sensory journey through the scents, flavours and traditions of Morocco and Tunisia, involving a tea ceremony and ritual drawings with henna; and ‘Mediterranean in festa’ to celebrate the traditions and street food of the Mediterranean.

Destination Moments, a series of events and lectures on the history and use of the spices that make Morocco and Tunisia unique, will also take place during the sailing.
