The result is an authentic Italian-style shopping experience amplifying Costa Cruises' vision to bring the warm Italian hospitality to sea, according to Starboard President and CEO Lisa Bauer.

'Costa Firenze is the perfect ambassador of Italian style, which we have combined with a series of product innovations designed especially for families and couples,' said Costa's Giuseppe Carino, VP guest experience and on-board sales. 'The on-board shop offer completes the immersive Italian cruise vacation experience for all our European guests.'

13 stores

The Galleria Shops span 13 stores featuring a variety of categories, from fine jewelry and apparel to handbags, trip souvenirs and travel essentials. Rotating Italian-themed collections will refresh merchandise twice on each voyage. Featured are Florentine keepsakes such as pottery, magnets, miniatures, keyrings and more.

The shops also offer a retail concierge service, enabling in-stateroom shopping, private retail appointments and concierge-led store outings.

Own a piece of Italian culture

Travelers can own a piece of Italian culture by shopping Florentine designer handbags by Ferragamo. Other specialty Italian brands include intricate, handmade fashion by Ciclamini, statement jewelry pieces by Myto Firenze and Save My Bag, a collection of colorfully designed chic totes, clutches, crossbodies and bucket bags.

New to European cruisers, luxury vintage brand What Goes Around Comes Around offers the opportunity to choose from a selection of sought-after designer handbags from Louis Vuitton. Also, never before aboard Costa, the Together as One collection of diamond enhancers transforms the look of guests’ cherished diamond rings.

Limited-time luxury brands

Offered on Costa Firenze for a limited time will be the fashionable men’s professional clothing brand Stone Rose, offering custom-designed prints, and Lemlem, an artisan-driven brand founded by supermodel Liya Kebede, with a collection of resort wear, shoes and handbags made entirely in Africa. Debuting soon for the first time at sea and for a limited time will be Di Modolo, a fine jewelry label that mixes modern elegance with timeless beauty.

And Bally Escapes’ travel-inspired collection is comprised of multifunctional travel essentials: water-resistant and collapsible backpacks, carry-on bags and accessories.

Costa Firenze is currently sailing weekly all-Italy cruises. From late July to late August, the ship will add a stop at Valletta, Malta, and starting Sept. 12 will expand to Marseille, France, and Barcelona and Ibiza, Spain.
