V.Ships' Oceanic takes on Azamara hotel procurement, logistics
Azamara appointed V.Ships Leisure to manage hotel procurement and logistics.

This follows the recent selection of V.Ships Leisure as vessel manager for the new Azamara Onward, whose inaugural voyage is set for the spring from Monte Carlo.
The latest strengthening of the partnership sees Azamara tapping Oceanic, a sister brand of V.Ships Leisure, to maintain and further enhance the line's culinary experience.
'Supportive and collaborative strategic partner'
'We’re delighted to have such a supportive and collaborative strategic partner in the form of V.Ships Leisure, and now their sister brand Oceanic, to support Azamara as we voyage into a world of new opportunities as an independent cruise line,' said Doug Parks, chief administrative officer, Azamara.
Parks called Oceanic 'the natural choice for Azamara' given their cruise dedicated team, focus on quality and close integration with the V.Ships Leisure team.
Locally procured delicacies
'Furthermore, Oceanic’s global network will further support Azamara’s destination immersion experiences with locally procured delicacies from the ports we visit for our guests to enjoy,' Parks continued. 'These initiatives, amongst others, will further our shared ambitions for ESG and making a positive impact through everything we do.'
V.Ships Leisure CEO Per Bjørnsen welcomed Azamara's continued trust, adding: 'The extension of this partnership is the embodiment of our vision to be the partner of choice for cruise line start-ups and transformations.'
Global scale
