Columbia Cruise Services appointed as technical manager for Club Med 2

German-based Columbia Cruise Services (CCS) has been appointed by Club Med to oversee technical management of Club Med 2, covering purchasing, logistics, port operations, crewing and recruitment.

Club Med 2

Joining the CCS managed fleet this May, the five-masted computer-controlled staysail schooner cruises in the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter, with eight decks and 184 outside cabins for 392 passengers.

The crew complement is 200, with almost a quarter of those employed in the deck and engine departments. 

Due to coronavirus restrictions, CCS is currently working on a remote management take-over option in cooperation with the classification society and the flag administration.
