Expansion of customised tech for operators as Schulte Group acquires Rescompany

Resco joins Schulte Group member MariApps Marine Solutions in providing software solutions to the cruise industry
Integrated ship to shore software systems provider Rescompany Systems Ltd. (Resco) has been acquired by Schulte Group.

Together with Schulte Group member MariApps Marine Solutions (MariApps), Resco will offer a portfolio of maritime solutions to the cruise industry, such as shipboard and office-based management systems using CLOUD and data analytics.

‘Despite the many challenges the cruise industry has been facing due to COVID-19, we see more than ever a growing demand for web-based software solutions,’ offered MariApps CEO Sankar Ragavan.

‘With Resco...we look forward to providing cruise ship operators with customized technology that ensures safe and efficient operations and an enhanced passenger experience.’

Resco's integrated Customer Relation Management (CRM) and Central Reservation Systems (CRS) provide a 360-degree view of onboard operations and customer interactions on board cruise ships, covering customer enquiries, complex bookings, payments and sales invoices and customer campaigns.

Resco’s Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale Systems (POS) enable check-ins and smooth passenger processing onboard vessels.

Added Peter Winqvist, ceo, Resco, ‘We are very excited to now welcome the Schulte Group as our new owner. With MariApps, Resco is determined to grow more vigorously with new and improved technologies.’
