The insourced team, a total of 19 people, will be managed by Andrea Zito, who has been appointed SVP technical operations, safety and manning, reporting to Christian Sauleau, EVP fleet operations.

Silversea's fleet operations personnel will be joining the V.Ships Leisure team in a dedicated office within V.Group’s Monaco premises. The goal is to create a dedicated vessel fleet management excellence to strengthen support for the line's planned growth.

Silversea will continue to benefit from V.Group’s services in the areas of recruitment and manning for deck, engine and hospitality crew, as well as ancillary technical and procurement services, including continued membership in Marcas, which aggregates purchasing volume on behalf of its members.

The Silversea departments moving to the new office include technical, procurement & logistics, hotel operations and, eventually, port operations and shore excursion management and on-board revenue management.
