Sir Stelios Hadji-Ioannou, creator and owner of the easy family of brands and Alex Panagopulos, founder of and, part of the easyGroup, joined forces in a partnership to provide an online platform for UK travellers booking cruises.

By partnering,, which offers an extensive selection of over 18,000 cruises from all the major lines, and aim to simplify the cruise booking process and offer UK customers more options and better deals.

Pioneering cruise family

Alex is the son of Pericles Panagopulos, the Greek shipping magnate and founder of Royal Cruise Line, SuperFast Ferries and other shipping companies.

Haji-Ioannou launched a no-frills cruise line in 2005, operating 4,100gt EasyCruiseOne in the Mediterranean. The line was sold to Hellenic Seaways in 2009, and the ship has since been scrapped.
