Representatives of the two parties signed a memorandum of understanding at this week's Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, where Aroya Cruises is exhibiting for the first time.

Shared passion for the Middle East

MBC Studios, part of the MBC Group, and Aroya Cruises share a passion for the Middle East, according to Lars Clasen, CEO of Aroya parent company Cruise Saudi, and 'strive to showcase authentic Arabian life and the extensive wonders the region has to offer ...'

He added: 'A good cruise line draws on aspects of storytelling to delight its passengers and showcase the destinations it visits and, like MBC Studios, we know that the Middle East has a captivating story to tell.'

MBC Group is a publicly traded Saudi media conglomerate with numerous television channels, three radio stations and the leading Arabic streaming platform offering original productions.
