Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Travel Tuesday cruise deals galore
Many cruise lines have rolled out Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Travel Tuesday offers this year.

The deals include fare discounts, free air, $1 deposits for one day only, kids sail free, pre-paid gratuities, stateroom upgrades and much more.
Here's a sampler:
Princess Cruises — A Cyber Monday deal offers $1 deposits for one day only: Nov. 28. Travelers do not have to pay the remaining balance until 90 days before their trip.
The $1 deposit can be paired with the Black Friday sale that runs through Nov. 30, offering 60 cruises priced under $60 per day, per person and hundreds more sailings priced under $100 per day, per person, taking travelers to Alaska, the California coast, the Caribbean, Panama Canal and Europe.
Sample itineraries that can be booked for under $60 per day with $1 deposits include the March 4 seven-day Mexican Riviera cruise on the line's newest ship, Discovery Princess, the March 12 10-day Panama Canal with Costa Rica and Caribbean voyage on Caribbean Princess and the Sept. 9 seven-day Canada/New England cruise on Emerald Princess.
These offers are available to residents of the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Bermuda who are at least 21 years old.
Royal Caribbean International — Black Friday and Cyber Week promotions on the US market include up to $600 savings, combined with 30% off for every passenger and kids 12 and under sail free. These can be applied to cruises in 2022, 2023 and 2024 (some blackout dates apply).
For the UK and European markets, kids sail for £99/€99 each on 2023 and 2024 Europe and Alaska cruises when bookings are made by Nov. 30.
Cunard — Offers are available on select cruises through January 2024. New voyage bookings from Nov. 17 through Dec. 2 will receive an onboard credit up to $600 per stateroom and 50% reduced deposit. Eligible itineraries include the signature trans-Atlantic crossing, Alaska, the Norwegian Fjords and Caribbean.
Featured itineraries starting at $899 per person include Queen Mary 2's Jan. 3 trans-Atlantic crossing from New York to Southampton and Queen Elizabeth's 10-night Alaska cruise round-trip Vancouver, BC, on July 17. As well: Queen Victoria's June 25 - July 2 Norwegian Fjords cruise round-trip Southanpton; Golden Week in Japan on Queen Elizabeth, round-trip Tokyo, April 28 - May 6; and Queen Elizabeth's 'Australia's Gardening Journey,' round-trip Melbourne, Feb 4-11.
Holland America Line — Travelers who book select cruises starting with 2022 holiday sailings receive prepaid stateroom gratuities and up to 40% off cruise-only fares. The offer is good for bookings through Nov. 27. It is combinable with HAL's 'Have It All' premium cruise package that includes four perks: shore excursions, a beverage package, specialty dining and Wi-Fi.
Crew gratuities apply to the first and second passenger in a stateroom. Travelers can take advantage of the offer starting with the holiday 2022 sailings through 2024 cruises, excluding grand voyages and itineraries less than five days.
Up to 40% reduced fares are available on a variety of worldwide itineraries, from Alaska to Australia/New Zealand, the Mediterranean to South America, Canada/New England to the Caribbean, and Asia to Mexico.
Celebrity Cruises — In addition to a buy one, get one 75% off deal for nearly all sailings from Dec. 2, 2022 to April 2025 and up to $200 onboard credit, travelers can get up to $650 in air savings for European summer cruises.
The air credit is applicable from 24 major US cities including Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, New York and San Francisco.
Bookings through Dec. 1 are eligible.
For the UK market, the offer is for 75% off the second traveler's fare (non-refundable deposit) or 60% off the second traveler's fare (refundable deposit) plus onboard credit of $50 per stateroom for sailings of three to five nights, $100 for six- to nine-night cruises and $200 for sailings 10 nights and longer.
Virgin Voyages — The line is touting its 'best savings ever' — as low as $99 per person, per night for seven December sailings in its most popular cabin categories: the Insider and Sea Terrace. Plus, travelers get a $100 bar tab bonus when purchasing a $300 bar tab.
For 2023 voyages, the second traveler in a cabin can snag 50% off, while the single supplement is waived for solo travelers. Plus, travelers get a $100 bar tab bonus when purchasing a $300 bar tab.
Bookings must be made Nov. 22 - Dec. 6 for travel November to April.
Avalon Waterways — Travelers can get free air and pre-paid gratuities when booking select 2023 European river cruises by Nov. 28.
Windstar Cruises — 'Pick Your Perk' runs Dec. 1 to Feb. 28. Perks include a choice of one of the following: a free pre- or post-cruise 'Easy Stay' (one night in a premium hotel with Internet, breakfast and transfer to or from the ship) or up to $1,000 shipboard credit per stateroom (credit amount is based on the length of sailing and type of stateroom or suite booked).
Or a free upgrade to Windstar’s 'All-In' package (Wi-Fi; unlimited beer, wine and cocktails; and gratuities) for applicable premium suites and sailings.
Windstar is also participating in the 'Thankful for Travel' sale Nov. 22-29, along with all the sister brands in the Xanterra Travel Collection. This entails an additional 5% reduced deposit on top of 'Pick Your Perk' but for a more limited time.
Scenic — Savings on ocean and river cruises are available. UK travelers can save up to £2,450 per person, with free private door-to-door transfers for bookings by Dec. 1. An additional £200 per person discount is available across all 2023 ocean voyages.
For cruises to Antarctica, the Arctic and the Fjords, this discount is in addition to free business-class air, plus a 10% off Earlybird offer or the 20% Super Earlybird offer.
For cruises to the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe, the Mediterranean and Japan, a £200 discount is in addition to the existing £1,000 suite upgrade credit plus the 20% Super Earlybird offer.
River cruisers can save up to £1,700 per person and get free private door-to-door transfers on voyages from Europe to the Mekong.
In the US, Scenic is offering European and Mekong River sailings with savings up to $6,000 per couple, while ocean yacht savings range up to $7,500 per person for itineraries that span from the Arctic to Antarctica to Japan and elsewhere. Savings vary by itinerary and suite selection and fares must be paid in full within 72 hours of booking.
Emerald Cruises — US customers booking select 2023 Europe and Southeast Asia river cruises can save up to $5,000 per couple. This applies to many of the line’s most popular eight-day Europe itineraries like 'Danube Explorer,' 'Jewels of the Rhine' and 'Sensations of Lyon and Provence,' as well as the 15-day 'Splendours of Europe.' 2023 Christmas markets sailings are also included.
In Southeast Asia, travelers can save on the full lineup of Mekong River cruises and tours.
Savings on ocean yacht cruises go up to $6,800 per couple on select 2023 departures with an array of options spanning the Mediterranean, Red Sea and the Caribbean — where both yachts will sail in winter 2023/24. These discounts are available between Nov. 23-30, and bookings must be paid in full within 72 hours.
In the UK, offers are good until Dec. 1 and include 2023 Europe river cruises from £1,795 per person and savings of up to 30% and a free premium drinks package for a yacht cruise in 2023/24.
Azamara — Travelers will receive $1,000 onboard credit when booking European cruises and a free double upgrade on select cruises.
This means sailing in a veranda stateroom for the price of an interior stateroom or a veranda-plus stateroom for the price of an ocean-view stateroom on more than 100 select global global voyages between Jan. 4 and Nov. 14, 2023.
Rates start at $1,299 per person. These offers are available for bookings made by Dec. 2.
P&O Cruises — Discounts of up to 30% are offered for select holidays when making a new Early Saver booking by Nov. 29. This deal is available for inside cabins on select departures between March 3 and Nov. 23, 2023, including cruises to Northern Europe, the Canary Islands, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the Norwegian Fjords.
Sample itineraries include a seven-night Northern Europe cruise on Iona round-trip Southampton to Hamburg, Rotterdam (overnight) and Zeebrugge for £449 per person in an inside cabin. A seven-night Canary Islands fly-cruise, priced from £499 including air, sails round-trip Tenerife with calls at Madeira, La Palma and Fuerteventura.
A seven-night Mediterranean fly-cruise also starts at £499 per person including flights. Sailing round-trip Valletta, Malta, Azura will call at Ajaccio, Livorno, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Naples.
AIDA Cruises — 'Black Week' discounts on select cruises departing from December to February are available starting until Nov. 28.
For example, AIDAsol's weeklong cruise from Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) visits La Gomera, La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Tenerife, while AIDAnova's seven-day trip combines the Canary Islands and Madeira. Discounts also apply to a week on AIDAcosma from Dubai or Abu Dhabi, and nine- and 12-day Mediterranean voyages on AIDAstella and AIDAblu from Mallorca.
Hurtigruten Expeditions — Travelers can save on bucket-list destinations through Nov. 30 with up to 50% off Antarctica, Alaska, Greenland, Galápagos, Iceland and Norway itineraries, including new routes in 2023.
During Hurtigruten's largest-ever Antarctica offering, adventure-seekers can save up to 40% on several itineraries, including Fridtjof Nansen's 11-day 'Highlights of Antarctica' expedition and Roald Amundsen's 16-day 'Antarctica & Falklands.'
Included in the sale are all three new Galápagos itineraries aboard Santa Cruz, with savings up to 40% on the northern loop and western loop, as well as the combined loop, which covers nine islands in the northern and western Galápagos. The nine-day itinerary launched earlier this year is also on sale.
Up to 40% discounts are available on select West Africa cruises to Cape Verde and the Bissagos Islands, while Alaska itineraries are up to 30% off and up to 50% off on the 'National Parks of North America' west coast expedition, as well as a nature and cultural tour of Central America that starts in Costa Rica and ends in San Diego.
Celestyal Cruises —Until Dec. 6, travelers can save 50% when upgrading to Celestyal's 'enhanced' fare, which is normally priced $140 higher than the ‘inclusive’ fare but is now available for $70 more.
The 'inclusive' fare covers dining and select drinks with meals, entertainment, daily activities, port charges and gratuities. This entry-level fare also comes with a pre-bookable shore excursion discount of $80 per person. The 'enhanced' fare bundles in an unlimited premium drinks package, daily hour of Wi-Fi, 25% discount on specialty dining and a pre-bookable shore excursion discount of $160 per person.
Among the 94 sailings included in the sale is the seven-night 'Idyllic Aegean' itinerary with 'inclusive' fares starting at $889, per person double occupancy (originally $1,650).
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines — Holidaymakers can save up to £300 per person on a selection of 2022 and 2023 sailings when booked by Nov. 28, with additional savings of up to £600 per person for suites and solo cabins.
Departures are available from Liverpool, Newcastle, Southampton, Portsmouth and Rosyth for cruises to Europe’s Christmas markets, the Arctic Circle with calls at Alta and Ålesund on a Christmas adventure in Norway and scenic springtime sailings of the Seine River in France.
For example, Bolette’s 13-night 'White Christmas in Norway' cruise, departing Southampton Dec. 21, has savings up to £300 per person, with prices starting at £1,699. Balmoral's five-night ‘Easter on the River Seine,' sailing from Southampton April 6, has savings up to £100 per person, with prices starting at £399.
Margaritaville at Sea — Two-night cruises from Palm Beach, Florida, to the Bahamas start at $49 per night. Plus, kids 12 and under sail free, and travelers save 25% on all packages and excursions. This offer is for new bookings for sailings from Nov. 22, 2022, through Dec. 31, 2023, with some blackout dates.
Riviera River Cruises — US travelers can get $500 off per person for eight-day cruises and $1,500 off per person for 15-day cruises on all new bookings made through Dec. 31. This includes solo traveler cruises but excludes cabins with no single supplement on traditional departures. Also included are group bookings, with a tour conductor policy of the 11th traveler free for every 10 paid.
