Haslett and Parton, who attended Cruise Lines International Association Australasia's Cruise360 2024 at Darling Harbour Friday, met their media guests at Sydney’s heritage-listed Central railway station.

New programme

The safari gave everyone a taste of Greece, the Middle East and Italy to celebrate the Greek cruise line’s new year-round programme which includes the Arabian Gulf for the first time, as well as itineraries across the Adriatic and Aegean seas.

The group travelled by bus from Central to Miloway Emporium in Earlwood to snack on Greek cheese and wine before going to Al Aseel Lebanese Restaurant for a sit-down traditional Middle Eastern feast.

From there, they moved to Raineri’s Continental Delicatessen in Five Dock, a suburb known as ‘Little Italy,’ for confectionery and coffee.

Key growth market

Haslett, who is based in the UK and attended Cruise360 in Brisbane last year, said Australia is ‘incredibly important’ for Celestyal Cruises and has been firmly marked as a key strategic growth market.

‘We know that both the regions in which we operate are popular with the Australian market,’ he said.

‘We’re committed to strengthening our partnerships and growing our presence Down Under.'
