This followed, by a few days, Crystal's appointment of Vista Travel as GSA for Germany and Austria, with a release that said Vista would handle 'all trade inquiries and bookings' in those markets. Apparently not.

Longtime partner

'ATIWorld has been a longtime partner of Crystal, and we are thrilled to bring them on in an official GSA capacity,' said Matias Lira, SVP trade Latin America, UK and EMEA. 'Jürgen [Kutzer, the founder and owner of ATIWorld] and his team know our brand very well and we are confident that working together will not only bring back former Crystal guests but attract new ones from this key region as well.'

For his part, Kutzer said: 'After the extensive renovations under new ownership, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity shine in a completely new splendor, sailing the world's oceans again since last summer. Since then, we have had several clients on board, including many loyal Crystal guests.

'We have received enthusiastic feedback from everyone so far,' he continued, 'with particular praise for the service on board. This pays off since more than 80% of the former crew members have found their way back to Crystal.'

Complete Crystal packages

ATIWorld will work closely with travel agencies and tour operators to offer complete Crystal packages including scheduled flight and transfers, as well as special land programs.

Later this year, ATIWorld is planning an all-inclusive group trip with Crystal, accompanied by Kutzer, when participants will get extra perks and services.
