Long-time director of marketing Lynn Ledwidge, well-known for her work in the cruise sector, is retiring from Destination Halifax. She'll work alongside Pellerin until the end of June.

Pellerin's experience includes five years as marketing director - communications, sponsorship and insights with Bell Aliant, a telecommunications firm.

'With a strategic mindset and a wealth of marketing expertise, Erica will be a valuable addition to the team,' said Ross Jefferson, president and ceo.

Prior to Bell Aliant, Pellerin held increasingly senior roles in the consumer packaged goods industry in Toronto at General Mills and Cadbury Canada where she was marketing director for the gum category. She also worked as a marketing consultant at Sklar Wilton & Associates, a marketing advisory firm.
