'Hong Kong, South China and the emerging Southeast Asia source markets are key target markets in our expanding business strategy across the region,' said Man's boss, Damian Perry, managing director APAC. 'Wendy brings great expertise and enthusiasm to our group.'

Man will lead and support sales and marketing activities in key emerging markets across Asia-Pacific. She is responsible for strengthening partnership relationships and facilitating brand and tactical marketing activities to cement Hurtigruten's brand positioning as the world leader in exploration travel.

Part of Costa's start-up Asia team in 2006

Man was a member of Costa Cruises' APAC start-up team in 2006. She has cultivated cruising as a holiday to new emerging markets, including Hong Kong, Australia, India, Taiwan, Philippines and the Emirates.

In 2014, when Royal Caribbean Cruises set up its Hong Kong office to commence homeport sailings, Man was hired as business development manager. Apart from expanding the distribution network, she initiated and explored new revenue channels by bringing in affinity groups. She was responsible for several full-ship charters of up to 4,800 passengers.
