New 'Golden Bachelorette'-inspired Windstar Cruises packages

Windstar Cruises introduced new cruise and overwater bungalow packages in French Polynesia inspired by 'The Golden Bachelorette' finale, now streaming on Hulu.

The air, hotel and cruise packages invite travelers to rekindle romance, inspired by the reality television series where widow Joan Vassos and her final three romantic picks flew Air Tahiti Nui to French Polynesia, explored the islands on Windstar's Star Breeze. Dates included a private catamaran tour in Moorea, an ATV adventure and a Tahitian bonding ceremony.

Overwater bungalows are a coveted experience in the islands and 'The Golden Bachelorette' viewers saw these as homes for Vassos' men in the show’s final episodes.

With dates taking place at the Hilton Conrad Bora Bora Nui and InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa hotels, these properties are included in Windstar’s new packages in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui and Tahiti Tourisme.

The packages

The packages include 'Final Rose & Overwater Bungalows Package' with a roundtrip Los Angeles flight on Air Tahiti Nui, one night at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete and three nights in an overwater bungalow at Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea. An ATV and snorkeling excursion are included. Then it’s off to join the ship in Moorea for a six-day cruise.

'Golden Days in Bora Bora Air + Overwater Villa Package from Los Angeles' with a roundtrip flight on Air Tahiti Nui, provides one night at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete, two nights in an overwater villa at the Hilton Conrad Bora Bora Nui and then a weeklong cruise.

'Golden Days in Bora Bora Air + Overwater Villa Package from Seattle' includes a roundtrip Seattle flight on Air Tahiti Nui, two nights in an overwater villa at the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa and one night at the InterContinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete after a weeklong cruise.

All packages include transfers in Tahiti between airport, hotels and ship. Gourmet breakfast and Wi-Fi are included at the hotels.

Romantic add-ons

For special romantic touches aboard Windstar, cruisers can purchase packages with extra indulgences like a couples massage, rose petal bed turndown and a private dinner under the stars. Additional celebration packages include elements for vow renewals, engagements and weddings.
