Destination marketing organisation Tahiti Tourisme appointed Nouvelle Vague Marketing to represent it in Australia and New Zealand.

Heading up Nouvelle Vague (French for 'new wave') is Caroline Brunel, who has had 20 years’ experience in destination marketing around the globe.

Before launching Nouvelle Vague Marketing, Brunel was marketing director for Entire Travel Group, which was founded in 1991 as French Travel Connection and is now a multi-destination wholesaler.

‘With such a great understanding of not only French Polynesia, but also the tourism industry generally, Caroline and her team bring fresh ideas, incredible enthusiasm and years of experience that we know will bring a "new wave" of excitement for the islands of Tahiti,’ said Gina Bunton, CEO of Tahiti Tourisme.

For 19 years she was deputy editor of Travel Week, which was Australia’s leading trade newspaper that covered major local and international industry events.
