The first course, Oceania Cruises Sales Specialist, gives an overview of brand hallmarks like fine cuisine, immersive destination experiences and personalized service aboard intimate, luxurious ships.

Upon completing the self-guided course, an agent will be recognized as a certified Oceania Cruises Sales Specialist. This comes with a $200 bonus commission on their next booking made within a 12-month period and three $100 shipboard credit certificates they can give to clients.

The line's partnership with travel agents is vital, according to James Rodriguez, svp sales and marketing, who encouraged agents to explore the portal, earn certification and 'reap the rewards.'

The Sales Specialist Academy has several sections, including 'Courses,' with access to certification training, and 'Resources,' with reference materials, marketing tools and webinars. 'My Progress' enables agents to easily return to a course, right where they left off. And 'Graduate Center' is where earned rewards may be accessed and activated.

The Oceania Cruises Sales Specialist course has eight chapters. The first four provide information on ships, destinations and the on-board experience. The remaining four give guidance on how to sell Oceania Cruises to both new and existing clients.

Each chapter is accompanied by interactive quizzes. When all eight chapters are reviewed, agents who complete the final exam are eligible for certification and bonus rewards.

The Sales Specialist Academy is within the Travel Agent Center at www.OceaniaCruises.com/agent/agent-login/.
