The company appointed award-winning brand specialist Hans Hulsbosch as executive creative director for its 60 second, 30 second and 15 second commercials.

‘We recently undertook extensive research to better understand what Australians think about cruising and about our brand,’ RCI’s regional commercial director Asia-Pacific, Sean Treacy,  said.

‘We discovered that while past Royal Caribbean guests really know and love our brand, those who are new to cruising or new to our brand have a very low awareness about what sets us apart from the competiton,’ Treacy said.

‘The new TV campaign distils the essence of the Royal Caribbean brand, showcasing the unique experiences you only get on a Royal Caribbean cruise, from surfing, ice-skating and DreamWorks at sea to the overall worldly and international style of a holiday onboard.’

The ads are part of ‘It’s Royal Caribbean Time’ campaign and carry the message:  It’s time the cruise-loving people of Australia experienced a whole new world of cruising aboard the biggest and most modern mega-liners in Australia.’
