Scenic Group opens regional Asia Pacific office in Singapore

Scenic Group opened an APAC office in Singapore to meet what chairman and founder Glen Moroney said is ‘increasing demand from affluent consumers in the fast-growing markets across the region.’

'We are excited to open our office in Singapore as part of our ongoing global expansion,’ Moroney said.

Trading as Scenic Tours APAC Pte Ltd and located at Marina Boulevard, the regional Singapore office follows the success of the company’s businesses in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, UK and Canada.

Constance Seck, formerly with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, is regional director sales & marketing APAC.

She will be supported by Business Development Manager APAC Ally Grueter and Marketing and Services Manager APAC Yee Sher Lim.

Reporting to Anthony Laver

Seck will report to Sydney-based Scenic Group GM Sales & Marketing APAC  Anthony Laver.

‘We are committed to working closely with our network of valued travel partners and jointly strengthening both the Scenic and Emerald brands in the Asia Pacific region,’ Laver said.

‘[Seck] will lead an experienced team in Singapore to implement our strategy in China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Hong Kong and the other key Southeast Asia markets,’ he said.

She has been the Australasia correspondent for Seatrade Cruise Review since 1997 and for Seatrade Insider (now Seatrade Cruise News) since its launch in 2000.
