Seascanner.co.uk encountered its most successful January to date, with record-breaking revenue and booking figures.

January revenue saw double-digit growth.

The company also recorded its best-ever trading week between January 27 and February 2, with January 31 a record-breaking day with the brand achieving its highest single-day revenue so far.

According to Seascanner, booking trends from January highlight a shift in consumer behaviour, with longer voyages and packaged products seeing significant growth. Bookings for cruises of 14 nights or more rose by 20% year-on-year, while fly-cruise bookings increased by 82%.

Additionally, bookings for sailings departing 12 months or more in advance increased by 43%.

Adding more cruise lines

‘January has been a phenomenal month for us, setting new records and proving once again that demand for cruising is stronger than ever,’ revealed Tony Andrews, MD of Seascanner.co.uk.

‘We’re seeing particular growth in longer sailings, fly-cruises and bespoke packages, as customers seek more immersive travel experiences.

‘Off the back of this success, we’re excited to be expanding our offering with new cruise lines, ensuring our customers have even more choice when booking their perfect cruise.’

The company recently added Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Azamara and Ambassador Cruise Line to its platform, with more lines set to join in the coming weeks.
